The Open Platform has secured its position as the first unicorn within Telegram's TON-based ecosystem, achieving a $1 billion valuation following a $28.5 million Series A extension round. Ribbit Capital led the investment, with Pantera Capital participating, bringing total funding to over $70 million.
Strategic expansion into the U.S., EU, and other key markets will be fueled by the capital infusion. The project leverages TON Blockchain—Telegram's exclusive decentralized partner—to scale its Web3 infrastructure.
